Interdisciplinary Master Program in Molecular Medicine
Academic Year 2024

Group A – Domestic Students

The program is designed with a minimum graduation credit requirement, consisting of a total of 13 credits for required and elective courses. It offers a multidisciplinary approach with 4 credits of core required courses to allow students to pursue research-oriented elective courses based on disease-related themes, fostering independent and self-directed learning. These elective courses are arranged as part of the graduation credits.

Core Required Courses:

1st Semester: “Disease and Health Special Topics” (2 credits), which is facilitated by physician-scientists and employs a problem-based learning approach, encouraging more interactive discussions and problem-solving between faculty and students.

2nd Semester: “Quantitative Data Analysis” (2 credits) serves as a fundamental information course, ensuring that biomedical students are well-versed in the logical algorithms and data processing methods of biomedical databases.

Group of Dual Degree


The Taiwan-Vietnam Dual Degree Program is structured to include a one-semester exchange (0.5 years) in Taiwan, followed by three semesters (1.5 years) of dual degree program. During the exchange semester, international students can immerse themselves in Taiwanese culture while taking courses and doing research that complements their academic goals. The subsequent semesters will be dedicated to rigorous academic training, ensuring students meet the requirements for the dual degree. Master’s students in this program must complete a total of 13 credits, including required and elective courses and a thesis. The detailed curriculum planning is given below.
